Obviously the more video plays you have, the more you will show up on Youtube under certain specifics such as "featured video" or "most viewed video this week". This in turn will get people interested in your video. I mean, your video got played 100,000 times in just a few hours, so it has to be interesting right?
Then, these people will get their interests piqued and they will view your video for real and they will play it for real and they will get to see your little "branded" message.
