Well, you are in luck because I found a few online that are incredibly useful and very easy to use. All you have to do is make the ad and do a little copy/paste routine. Really, you aren't even making the advertisement. You are simply making a few customizations. The website is doing all the real work.
You get to choose exactly what your ad says and most of these websites have a full html editor which, if you have a good imagination, could bring you hundreds of different ad options. So, I'm sure your wondering exactly how something like this works. And I am going to tell you exactly how! Just take a look at the following steps listed below and I'll bet you will get this going in no time flat!
Firstly you must choose a design for the ad. Here are a few samples on one website I discovered; blue, pink, green, black, sunny day, frosty, red bubbles. Now remember this is just the background to the ad, you can change the content and a few other things.
Secondly you must do your content. This includes title, email, contact details, and ad content. For the ad content this site in particular has a FULL html editor which can be really pleasant when you aren't very good with codes and such!
The last part of this operation is the photos. You will choose one main picture (I selected a logo pic for mine) and one or more extra images. Evidently you can add unlimited pics and they will shrink them down to size automatically. You will also be admitted to see a free preview of your ad as well, so you can either edit it or save it. In this case, I'll choose to save it.
Now you will usually see three various alternatives, all of which are some sort of coding available. The first option is linking code with picture, second is link code without picture and the third option is just a simple URL of the site you made the ad on which will allow you to direct people TO that link if you want to.
Once you customize your ad and you get the link you want all you have to do is post it. The posting is probably one of the easier and quicker parts of this whole process. Like I said above, it's more of a copy/paste action than anything else. Go to craigslist, choose your city and then click on "post to classifieds". Choose the posting type (usually "for sale"). Choose the category.
Now you have reached the page where you can add your content, go back to the code which you just generated from your ad, click on it to select then right-click and click on Copy. Go back to craigslist and paste it to the "Posting Description" entry. Fill the rest of the items and click on "Continue". You can now see a preview of your ad. Click on "Continue" to move on. Accept the terms, enter in the CAPTCHA, and voila.
You just posted your completely customized ad flyer to Craigslist! See how easy that was? Now you can do it again and again! Remember, this is free, so you can post as many ads as you want from the site that has the generator. Obviously Craigslist has its own set of mysterious rules but other than that you can go to town with something like this! And I'm sure you will!
