I'm not pulling your leg. There really is such a thing out there and it really is useful especially if you know how to use Craigslist correctly! Let's face it, some of the ads on that site can be really dull and incredibly boring. Lately I have been finding some colorful ads though so I decided to ask around about them. Apparently there are a few websites you can visit online to make a free ad for craigslist.
What's great about this option is that it's completely free and you can make as many as you want. It's also very easy. If I had to guess, I would say it takes about 3 minutes to make the ad. of course I already had my "speech" ready beforehand so I just had to do a copy paste. But this really is a quick way of going about something like this. Especially if you know nothing about codes and html and all that potentially confusing stuff.
People who are completely new to Craigslist can post up these so-called flyer's. I suppose you could even post these ads in other places as well, besides craigslist. As long as the site allows an html code to be placed into the ad box! The process is super easy so let's take a look at what is expected of you! First you must choose a design for the ad. Here are a few samples on one site I found; blue, pink, green, black, sunny day, frosty, red bubbles. Now remember this is just the background to the ad, you can change the substance and a few other things.
Second you must do your content. This includes title, e-mail, contact details, and advertisement content. For the ad content this site in particular has a FULL html editor which can be really nice when you aren't very good with codes and such!
The last part of this operation is the photographs. You will choose one main picture (I selected a logo pic for mine) and one or more extra images. Evidently you can add unlimited pics and they will shrink them down to size automatically. You will also be allowed to see a free preview of your ad as well, so you can either edit it or save it. In this case, I'll choose to save it.
Now you will usually see three various alternatives, all of which are some sort of coding available. The first option is linking code with picture, second is link code without picture and the third option is just a simple URL of the website you made the ad on which will allow you to point people TO that link if you want to.
Some of you guys might be a little hesitant about this. While it does sound easy, it may sound hard from getting it from html code on site to Craigslist and into a real ad. That's okay! These sites also include a tutorial for you as well. FYI Craigslist does allow html codes in its postings, so all you have to do is a quick copy and paste really. How much more easy could this get for you. Easy, quick, free, and convenient! Try it out for yourself!
