The very first time I heard of a product branded with that name, I immediately thought that the company or the products were named after a woman. Perhaps someone started the products and designs. When I did some research, I found out that I was right about the latter, but not about the former. Indeed, these works of art are named after their founder, Louis Comfort Tiffany. But he was a man, not a woman. He was first known for his works on glass, more popularly known as the glass art. Eventually, he found a way to incorporate this initial artistry on household things. It was then that Tiffany lighting became known, and so have Tiffany lamps.
These lamps became very popular because they were too able to accentuate the area where they were placed by the illumination that they gave off. Before Louis made these possible, people often thought of these light sources as merely functional and practical. Today, they are already seen as great decorative aesthetic pieces for the home or office.

Having the Tiffany in your home is having the assurance that it will always be the focal point of ooohhs and aahhs, because of the intricate details of art that is typical of these. However, they are not easily acquired, financially speaking. This is because they are very expensive for the average- earning person. If you can afford buying even one, it will be a worth purchase. But if you can not, there is no need to fret.
