For budding young entrepreneurs and inventors, sometimes the road from idea from concept to production is a long hard one with many hurdles along the way, not to mention an initial outlay of finances in order to get a project off the ground.
We have all seen or at least heard of the TV program Dragons Den, Dragons Den is a gateway for afore mentioned inventors and entrepreneurs to present their ideas and concepts in high hopes or obtaining financial backing as well as invaluable marketing knowledge and expertise in order to see their product reach the market.
The Dragons are a group of investors who have already successfully hit the big time with their own products or services and are lucky enough to now be basking in the glory of having themselves become millionaires with money to invest in other products, services or companies in return for a market share of the company, this usually equates to a substantial cut of the equity in the venture.
