"Reverse Funnel System and GRN" - Unbiased TRUTH including the good and the bad.

By: Ray Rapeepat

So, you’ve heard of the Reverse Funnel System before, but are not sure of what it’s all about. You don’t know whether it’s good or bad, or whether it is a scam. And what is GRN?

The Reverse Funnel System, or RFS for short, is a marketing system online devised by Ty Coughlin to sell the product of the Global Resorts Network (GRN).

Before I tell you about RFS, I would like to talk about the “Product” first, because you can then understand better.

You know about time share, don’t you? This is similar to it, but there is no real estate involved.

People just buy “memberships” to a club or network, GRN, so that they have the right to take luxury resort vacations, at SPECIAL DISCOUNTS of 50% to 80%, at any of the 5000 destinations worldwide. They can do that any time they want, as many times as they want, for their whole LIFE TIME. These vacations are weekly and for the WHOLE FAMILY.

The room rates, or rather the unit rates, are from $297 to $799 per week, depending on the size, how many bedrooms, locations, time of year, seasonality, and so on. And these rates are between 50% to 80% of regular. There are no black out dates.

The Company, Global Resorts Network, is pretty good at fulfilling their promises too. Only one week advance booking is required. And if you can’t get the particular resort hotel that you want, because it is full, they can get you a good substitute that you’ll be happy with. This is their reputation.

The Platinum membership is $3000 per life time, and more. It can be willable to you children and grand children too. The Gold membership is half of that and is only for three years. And there are some restrictions too. So, most people buy the Platinum.

If you are not familiar with memberships, you may think that $3000 is expensive, in fact it is not. If you take vacations three times you recover your membership cost already through your savings. Do your own math.

You get similar benefit to time share purchasing. But the latter costs you $10,000 or more up front, plus maintenance fees every year too.

Twenty-two years ago GRN sold memberships the same way as time shares, at big presentations in hotels, etc, at the same $10,000 price. Only a year ago that GRN started selling memberships online. The price is then reduced to $3000.

So far there is no competition. There are no other networks or clubs doing this same thing. But online travel agents do sell weekly vacation packages. But, up until now, Global Resorts Network is still ahead of the game.

So, the “Product” is good, and it sells like hot cakes. Everybody wants a vacation, especially at a discount price. I haven’t met one person who doesn’t, yet.

Now, GRN wants their membership to be sold widely through referrals, so they have adopted the “Perpetual Pay Plan” where even when you stop working your income doesn’t stop. I’m not going to get into details on that. Because it’s not the purpose of this article

Out of the $3000 price of the membership, $1000 goes to the affiliate seller, another goes to his or her up-line, and the third $1000 goes to the company.

This is now a good business. You see, every time you sell a membership, you make $1000. The up-line person who introduces you also gets $1000. It’s good money for BOTH you and your up-line. The Pay Plan is good. There’s no doubt about it.

Ty Coughlin recognizes the great potential of this business, so he devised the Reverse Funnel System.

Scarcity creates value! Ty realizes that. So he says in his ad that he wants only a few people to do this business with him. (This makes the opportunity scarce). You must quality and pass the test to get in. But before you do that you must also pay $50 first to show your seriousness and that you are really motivated.

Of course, if you see the potential, you think you can do it, and if you can afford the $50 (which almost everyone can) you will pay. So, Ty makes $50 for every lead he gets. Very clever! Most people pay for leads, Ty GETS PAID for leads.

If you join him as his down-line, you can also use this Funnel System and get paid the same way as Ty. So, at this point, the RFS is good for you. But it comes with a bad news. Yes, you can use this system, with the same ad, etc, so long as you pay him $250 or $300 a month!

Isn’t he mean? The word generosity is not in his vocabulary. He already makes money from you 2 times. First, the $50 for being his lead, second, the commission of $1,000. Now he still wants you to pay him $250 a month. Do you know what? I think he thinks that since he is such a clever person, he can find a way to take all his money with him when he dies.

Ty knows the weakness of people. They are afraid to talk to strangers, to cold call, and to sell. They are afraid of rejections. So his campaign is based on a complete marketing set-up that “System works, people fail”. He claims that the website does everything for them. They don’t have to talk to anyone.

This has a lot of weight, because it is what people want and what they want to hear. So, he has struck the right chord again. But is this true though? Some say there is no such thing as a complete automated system. Others may agree to a certain extent. For example in affiliate marketing, especially through Click Bank, you buy a software based on what you read at the selling website, pay for it by credit card, and download the program.

But the nature of this membership product is different. It is a high ticket item. There are a lot of questions that you cannot foresee and cannot answer in advance on the website.

So, what can I say in totality about the Reverse Funnel System? Well, it is a very clever system, having great appeals. It is what people want, though a little expensive to use. But here’s what’s happening….

Once, the prospective affiliates get into the funnel, having paid the $50, instead of joining you right away, they wait and research. I am assuming that you are you, an affiliate, not Ty Coughlin, the creator of the program. They want to join Ty, not you, his affiliate, because they see his picture, his ad, know of his ability, etc. They didn’t see you. There is no personal branding by you. So, they will join somebody they like and trust. I have heard that affiliates who use RFS lose 90% of their leads. But some really make a killing using it.
If you decide to join this program, I suggest that you test RFS out yourself. Who knows it may work best for you. Testing is the key to success. Personally, I don’t like Ty’s greediness. It turns me off.

There are other ways of marketing GRN’s product. One of them is very effective, and dealing with the truth. No hype or gimmick. AND YOU DON’T NEED TO TALK TO ANYONE, unless you want to. Hired help can close the sales for you, if you want. All you do is concentrate on marketing which you will be taught. You can check this out at

About the product or the program, to me this product, vacation membership, is real. You “physically” go on vacation. You physically go from one place to another. It’s not like informational product which is all words. This is my opinion and why I like it.

GRN’s vacation membership, in my opinion, is the best on the market. Just think about it. Everybody wants a vacation. It is always in demand. The price is 50% to 80% lower than the regular rate. The Pay Plan is excellent. In fact, it is the only one that income never stops even if you stop working. I have not seen any other program like this. You can earn 6 or 7 figures a year with this program. The membership can be inherited by your children and grand children.

This is the unbiased TRUTH about the Reverse Funnel System and the Global Resorts Network. I hope it has helped you in some ways. Oh, by the way, whatever program you do, make sure that the buy-buttons work, otherwise you don’t get paid.
