While resubmitting your letters to the credit bureaus, be persistent. Being insistent, rather than threatening with each dispute will help. Your first one or two dispute letters should be friendly and polite. Later you can become frustrated and threatening as time passes. You may threaten to hire an attorney or make a complaint to the FTC, etc, but do not overdo it.
Learn to be creative. Creating and utilizing other techniques that help further the idea that the dispute letter is from a truly wronged and disadvantaged consumer can contribute to your disputes being solved easily. The agencies are flooded with requests, and they tend to give priority to those that seem most urgent.
Remember not to bombard the agencies with disputes about the same listing. Sending one dispute after another is wasteful and counterproductive. The rule of thumb is to wait 60 days between disputes of the same listing.
