2. Build a quality content site

There are currently 12 formats of AdSense ads, and the proper positioning of your ads on your web pages should be done with care. It is recommended that you try to position your ads where surfers are most likely to click on them. According to research, the place that surfers look first when they visit a site is the top left. It is also a good idea to blend your AdSense ads into your page. This can be achieved by selecting the appropriate colors during the AdSense ad creation process.

Some people consider that two AdSense formats, the banner and skyscraper, are no longer effective. The theory is that some surfers ignore these formats as they are instantly recognized as an advert.

It should be noted that AdSense itself has some excellent tracking statistics that allows webmasters and publishers to track their results on a wide variety of basis. You should review this capability and make use of it, as this is potentially valuable information that will help you find out which ads are performing best. And, therefore, those adds which need attention as they are not performing well. Whatever you do, don't ignore your site and your AdSense ads once you have implemented them. Allocate some time to reviewing performance and making adjustments. It will be time well spent.
