I had an e-mail the other day asking why after submitting 10 articles, none were accepted. The reply I gave did not seem to satisfy them but their articles were just 'cut and paste jobs' with no categories selected and re-hashed articles I had seen before.

We had 121 articles to approve today.
Over 70 were deleted immediately due to being under 500 words. Some of these articles were probably very good, but we run a simple script that just deletes them. We don't even see them - let alone read them.
