We have a page rank of one! Not a huge big deal I know, but you have to start somewhere.

You may have noticed that we have lost a number of categories. The thinking behind this is that we feel a move towards a more business based website would suit not only us but our writers as well.

Article approval has become more controlled in the past month and our terms and conditions will be upheld. This has to be enforced so the people who take time to prepare quality articles will not be hindered by those persons who just rush out any old rubbish. So far, 8 authors have had all their articles deleted and their accounts closed. You have been warned.

We are now up to nearly 200 hits a day, with about 10 new authors a day.

The marketing of Articles Insight and authors articles is going really well and the site continues to develop.

A few bugs have now be sorted and a new contact form has been added.

Some comments (good or bad) on what you think of the site would be very welcome.

The promotion of articles within blogs seems to be working. I have seen more and more pages from Articles Insight within searches on Google.

The traffic figures (although still not where I want them to be) have risen from 50-80 hits a day to nearly 150 a day. It’s certainly going in the right direction.

I have now started to actively marketing your articles. These will be placed via a blog post within netservice.co.uk.

These posts will be posted/linked to all available social networking sites and we will see how it goes. All a bit of an experiment for the time being but let’s see how it goes.

I started this blog a week ago with one post. Today I did a search on Google for ‘Articles Insight’ and the blog comes in within the top twenty. The main site is nowhere to be seen until you do a search on ‘Articles Insight Directory’. When you think I did nothing more than put up a normal wordpress blog and posted one item to it, then you can really see the power of blogs.

With this in mind I intend to market the more popular articles via a network of blogs. This should give extra exposure to the main site and article author alike.
